Connecting Operator's Domain

Each customer is assigned an individual PBX address in the customer-name.pbx.operator.com format , where customer-name is the name of the customer, and pbx.operator.com is the domain name of your telecom operator.

At the same time, the operator’s interface for managing the platform will be available at admin.pbx.operator.com.

To connect your domain, you need to come up with a domain name. You can place Cloud PBX domains either on the third level of your domain (customer-name.operator.com) or on the fourth level (e.g., customer-name.pbx.operator.com, where pbx can be replaced with tel, cpbx, vpbx, etc.) — this is convenient if you use third-level addresses for providing other services.

Note: It is recommended to place the operator’s interface address in the same domain zone. Otherwise, multiple SSL certificates will be required. For example, if customers access the service via customer-name.pbx.operator.com, then the operator’s interface should be located at admin.pbx.operator.com, not admin.operator.com.

After you have chosen an address, contact our technical support at support@digitaltide.io to receive the necessary instructions for the required connection records.

After the domain has been connected, you need to install an SSL certificate; otherwise, customers will receive an error when logging in. You can upload your certificate manually in the Security section or delegate it to our support team.

Our team is ready to issue and upload the SSL certificate for your service and domain free of charge. You only need to configure DNS once, and afterwards the certificate will be automatically renewed without your involvement. To proceed, please contact our technical support.
